Cake made with freshly-made gelato and soft whipped cream.

This cake was born almost accidentally. I was undecided which dessert to take for dinner with friends. Cake or ice cream? Which would be enjoyed most? Either way, I was going to disappoint someone! So I combined my two passions and a tasty idea was born... without having to give up either.
