Bonèt all'amaretto
NEWS 2017 - ITALIAN REGIONAL FLAVOURS
REGION: PIEDMONT
Creamy flan gelato, flavoured with rum and variegated with crunchy amaretto biscuits.
Theories on where the term Bonèt comes from are many and varied, theories that are intertwined with the gentle slopes of the Langhe. It doesn't matter because this cake has spread throughout the whole region and become its symbol. This rich dessert is made from the simple ingredients of cocoa, amaretto and rum but the preparation is far from simple and demands safe expert hands. Although the name is regional, the Bonèt goes right to the heart of the Italian lexicon as the backbone of the best desserts.
