When this flavour was created for the first time, there were two schools of thought: those who preferred the great classics and those who favoured nibbling something crunchy in their ice cream. How did we reconcile them? Affogato croccante managed it: the delicacy of the zabaione is unmistakable but it is made even more irresistible by the caramelised almonds and a flow of melted chocolate. This way everyone, and we mean everyone, was happy.
