Zuppa inglese is a classic of Romagna cuisine: not a Sunday goes by when it isn't the queen of desserts. The base is mildly alcoholic and the variegation is of Savoiardi biscuits soaked in Alchermes, a famous red liqueur. The final touch, a flow of dark chocolate.
